The transfer window in the Star Times Uganda Premier League, Star Times Big League, Region League(s) and across Uganda closed on the night of Tuesday. 21st.September. 2021.

Many teams were active in business to beef up their teams ahead of the new season 2021/2022 that is expected to start on Friday. 15th. October. 2021.

Derrick Ndahiiro _ URA Football Club:

“I am quite happy to be here at URA FC. The club is one of the best in the country and I am looking forward to playing at the top level and improving my game while here.”

Mato Rogers _ KCCA Football Club:

I am beyond happy to join the biggest club in Uganda. I already feel at home because I know a number of players at the club. Most of them are friends. I have already had a chat with the Manager and he sold me his Vision. I just cannot wait to get started here.”

Shariph Kimbowa_ Wakiso Giants Football Club.

In his remarks, Kimbowa stated; “I am very happy and humbled to be joining this club. It’s a new challenge that I am ready for since this is my job.

“As a forward, I want to score goals and also help my team win games and achieve better goals.”

Joel Mutakubwa _ Express Football Club:

This is a great step towards achieving my goals as a footballer. Express FC is surely the right place to be because of the championship mentality here. I know what is expected of me and I will do my very best to perform at the highest level. I want to thank the Head Coach Wasswa Bbosa for having the trust in me”.
