UGVOLLEYBALL ELECTIONS 2021: LIVING TO SERVE VOLLEYBALL_ SSENYONDO RETURNS TO UVF AS GENERAL SECRETARY.

Godwin Nakaana Ssenyondo was elected as the new General Secretary of Uganda Volleyball Federation at the elective Congress that was hosted at the National Hockey Grounds, Lugogo on Sunday. 31st. January. 2021.

The former player and administrator won with a complete success victory over Hassan Sekajoolo.

Nakaana Ssenyondo bagged 188 votes out of the 282 votes that were cast while Sekajoolo got 92 votes.

Nakaan Ssenyondo will now serve as UVF General Secretary and his mandate is one of being the Chief Administrative Officer of the federation; the central UVF administrative unit for the organization and management of volleyball activities in the country.

“I am back to serve volleyball for the good of everyone,” Ssenyondo said.

Nakaana Ssenyondo previously served volleyball in top administration and technical positions as 1st vice president and Technical Director respectively.

Meanwhile, Eunice Nuwabigaba will serve as Ssenyondo’s deputy. In the race for Deputy General Secretary, Nuwabigaba trounced Margarete Kiiza, winning with 212 votes against Kiiza’s 72 votes.
