Mulago Volleyball Club (MVC- Friends) unveiled four new signings for the 2020 season, promising to gain promotion from the 3rd division league (Series C).

The first Vice President; Mr. Kasaija Frank flanked by team manager Ms. Hannah Nambi unveiled Maxson Nuwagaba, Ivan Besigye Kiza, Hillary Alongu Ivan Ssendawula and Moses Okulo.

The players were unveiled at the club 2020 reunion that was held on Sunday. 15th. March. 2020 at the Mulago Nursing School Sports Complex.

 “These are our new signings and we are confident that they will offer their best to help the club gain series B status come next season,” Yvonne Katwine, the second club vice president noted in her welcoming remarks to the players.

Last year, Mulago was relegated to series C, the lowest national league division in the Uganda Volleyball League.

 “Our target next year is to get back to series B of the national league but that means we have to work harder because the competition down there is going to be tough going the number of teams playing there this season,” Patrick Opolot the team captain explained.
