Muhammad will get back into action when he is ready; says Coach.

Pirates Head Coach Bob Musinguzi has ruled out any step of harrying to have full-back Haruna Muhammad back into action after his nine-month recovery period.

The 21-year-old full – back underwent a successful knee ligament surgery in March at UMC Victoria Hospital in Kampala and is not expected back at least for the rest of this year.

"He will back, but not soon. We are not going to rush him,” said Bob Musinguzi the Pirates Rugby Club coach.

“The club's medical team has drawn up a plan to closely observe Muhammad's recovery process, as well as weigh up on his progress,” he added.

Meanwhile, all rugby action is expected to return in May once the ban on all public gatherings including sports events is lifted by government.

The ban was put in place through a presidential directive to enforce measures to curb down on the spread of the corona virus in Uganda; a pandemic that has hit the world hard forcing a break for all sports events worldwide.
