The Stanbic Bank 2021/2022 Uganda Cup winners have made a number of new signings as well as extending contracts of a few players whom the coach feels can still give value to the club in the coming soon both locally and at the continent.

Saidi Keni and Regan Kalyowa have been given contract extensions.

The new additions include Benon Tehomera who has been signed from Kyetume Football Club.

The former MYDA Football Club was given a two-year contract for the next two seasons which will keep him at the Jinja based side up to 2024.

The other signings are forwards Frank Kalanda and Antony Mayanja from Busoga United Football Club and Police Football Club respectively; and goal keeper Tom Ikara from Police Football Club.

BUL FC Head Coach Alex Isabirye on his latest new signings:

“Tahomera can defend as well as score goals. He still has a lot to learn but he is a young player who can play football and has a lot of potential.

“Last season we faced difficulties in defending and conceded a lot because we did not have luxury to rotate and that is why we are bringing in players like him who can defend,” Isabirye on Benon Tahomera.
