The defending champions of the Pepsi University Football League are been drawn in Group A together with optimistic Kabale University, Kisubi University and Bugema University for the 2023 edition.

This was at the official launch of this year's edition and draws held at Kati Kati on Thursday.23rd. February. 2023.

Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) are the defending Champions of the Pepsi University Football League 2022 after beating St. Lawrence University 1- 0 in the final that took place on Saturday. 12th. November. 2022 at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
