CAF "B" licensed coach Sadiq Ssempigi and also current Assistant Coach of Mbarara City Football Club in the Star Times Uganda Premier League was named as the Head Coach of Kooki Ssaza football taem.

This news was confirmed by the management committee of Kooki County.

Ssempigi replaces Andrew Nsamba who is now Head Coach of Kasese New Villa Football Club in the FUFA Big League.

Kooki has won the Masaza Cup once and this came in 2006.
