Star Times Uganda Premier League side, Uganda Police Football Club have continued to take active participation in the transfer market with the signing of former Busoga United Football Club Goal Keeper, Tom Ikara on a two years’ contract.

Ikara’s move was sealed after all the necessary paper work was dealt with on Tuesday, 28th, July, 2020.

Ikara signs from KCCA Football Club but spent the whole of last season at Mbarara City Football Club on loan and had been a target for 2019/2020 Star Times Uganda Premier League champions, Vipers Sports Club and URA Football Club.

IKara’s move to Police can be understood by the fact that he wanted to be at a place where he will be assured of first team football as he tries to bring back to life his career towards getting back into the line of choice for the Uganda Cranes.

At Police, the 23-year old joins the likes of Tonny Mawejje and Hassan Muhammod who are the other new faces in Abdallah Mubiru’s set up in preparations for next season.
