African MX Championship postponed to 2021.
The outbreak of the COVID -19 disease has continued to do harm on sports activities in the world.
In Africa, the Motocross governing body; FIM Africa has resolved to postpone all this years’ continental activities to 2021season.
This result means that Uganda, the African Nations championship which was slated for 7-9th August in Uganda will now have to be adjourned to 2021.
FIM Africa reached this conclusion in consideration to the probable aftermath of the COVID -19 pandemic.
“The uncertainty of the current station and the fact that it will take a while to recover from it financially will make it hard to secure sponsors for the events,” read in part a statement from FIM.
The other activity that will be affected is the Enduro Cross Country Africa that was due to take place in August in Namibia.
