UGANDA CUBS SUMMONED FOR U17 AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS PREPS.

U17 National Team Head Coach Hamuza Lutalo has summoned a squad 41 players under a provisional arrangement to begin preparations for the forthcoming Africa U17 Cup of Nations that will be staged in March, 2021 in Morocco.

The Uganda Cubs qualified for the Africa U17 Cup of Nations Finals after emerging Champions in the CECAFA Zonal qualifiers; beating Tanzania 3-1 in the finals in Rwanda.

Like it was the case with the Uganda Hippos, Coach Hamuza Lutalo has also summoned two foreign based players.

Forward Basil Tenywa Tuma of Eton College in the United Kingdom and defender Lloyd Nsambu Tendo of Metz U17 Academy in France are part of the youngstars who will report for a residential camp on Tuesday. 9th. February. 2021 at Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) Technical Centre in Njeru.

Uganda first made an appearance at the Africa U17 Cup of Nations Finals in 2019  in Tanzania.
