APR Volleyball Club of Rwanda beat KCCA Volleyball Club 3-2 ( 25-19, 27-25, 20-25, 25-26, 16-14) to claim the NSSF-KAVC International Tournament on Sunday. 7th. August. 2022 at the MTN Sports Arena Lugogo, Kampala.

It was a closely contested final between the two teams with APR having the edge in the first two sets. 

KCCA fought back to win set 3 and set 4 to force a 5th and decisive set.

APR VC started well in set 5 with an early lead of 5-2 which they later pushed to 8-4 and further to 11-7.

KCCA VC tried a come back push but couldn't not break a determined APR side who maintained a two points difference in the last and critical stages of the match which they eventually won 16-14. 

To book Thier spot in the final APR defeated KAVC 3-0  (25-09, 25- 16, 25-19) and it was the same set score win 3-0 (25:22, 25:19, 25: 16) for KCCA over VVC in the other semi final.

In the bronze medal match, KAVC won in straight sets (25-17, 25-12, 25-19)
over VVC.
