The gifted BUL Football Club midfielder was part of the Uganda Cranes team that took part in the Pre-CHAN mini tournament in Cameroon but couldn’t make it to the list of the midfielders for CHAN.

However, Ssemujju returned to Uganda a stratified man saying that he will continue to work hard.

On his Face Book page Ssemujju wrote:

“Unfortunately, I didn’t make the final it to the 25-man squad who will represent Uganda in the CHAN tournament but am privileged and happy to have been considered.”

“I will stay positive with my head up and work even harder.”

In Cameroon, Ssemujju got some playing time in two games out the three games the Uganda Cranes played, featuring against Cameroon and Zambia.
