Futsal Association Uganda (FAU) has postponed all its competitions including national Supper League until further notice.

This unfortunate development comes after the most recent directives issued by the President of the Republic of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Friday. 18th. 2021 to suspend all sports events following the over whelming surge of Covid -19 victims.

In a statement published by the FAU website by Moses Wantimba the Communication and Public Relations Officer, the association leadership leaders cited the interest of Public Health and the safety of the Futsal community.

The Supper League was close to entering the finals that were due to take place at Old Kampala Futsal Arena on Saturday .19th. June. 2021.

FAU’s response  adds to this critical voice and urges all its members to observe Covid -19 Standard Operation Procedures and stay safe.
