Regional League CANCELLED:
The Covid 19 pandemic has caused yet again another disruption to football; this time forcing the  cancellation of the 2020/21 SEASON of the FUFA REGIONAL LEAGUES.

 The unfortunate development was reached by FUFA and in a communication to all the regional teams, the football governing body was certain that action will back as soon as the situation normalizes.

" Due to supervisory and logistical hiccups caused by the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic, FUFA has decided to cancel the FUFA Regional Leagues for 2020/2021 season," read part of the communication through the FUFA communications Director Ahmed Hussein.

The league will be rescheduled at a later date.

"Efforts will be diverted to an early and timely kickoff of the 2021/2022 Regional League season. We urge everyone to continue and intensity efforts in the fight to stop the spread of COVID -19 in the Country. Together we can control the spread of the virus," the communication continued.
