Bitakazibwa to Express Fc

Express Football Club have completed the signing of Bitakazibwa Kada from Kigezi Home Boys Football Club.

The confirmation of Kada’s transfer came from the club’s official website www.expressfc.co.ug on Saturday. 30th. July. 2022.

According to the club website, Kada inked a three-and-a-half-year contract that will keep him at the Wankulukuku based side up to July. 2025.

The 21-year-old midfielder also has a clause for another one year extension.

Last season, 2021/2022 Kada scored 4 goals and made 8 assists in the 18 games he played for his former team Kigezi Home Boys.

After the announcement, Kada had this to say;

“I am so happy to join Express FC,” Kada said while speaking to the club media through www.expressfc.co.ug.

“It is a dream come true because I have been a fan since childhood.

“I look forward to winning trophies with the club because it is part of their history, and I can’t wait seeing the fans on the pitch,” he added.

Express Head Coach James Odoch on his latest signing.

“He is a focused player with great ambitions and him joining the Red Eagles means doubling his efforts,” Odoch said.

“Being a young player, he will suit our plans of building a squad for the future and has the quality for Express FC.”

Odoch believes that Kada being a versatile player, ably skilled and fast player he will give his team a lot of options offensively.

The former Kibuli SS player can play either from the central attacking position or through the wings; and possesses good dribbling and ball possession.
