UGANDA U20 HEAD COACH NAMES TEAM TO FACE MOZAMBIQUE IN THE FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS.

The final Queen Cranes squad to face off with Mozambique in the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers has been named.

Head Coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi named a team of 20 players who will take on Mozambique in the first preliminary round; first leg that is slated for Saturday. 07th. October. 2023 at the Campo da ABB Matola Stadium.

The named squad has 3 goalkeepers, 6 defenders, 6 midfielders and 5 forwards.

The team is expected to fly out aboard Ethiopian Airlines on Thursday morning at around 02:25 am under the leadership of FUFA Executive Committee Member Rogers Byamukama as Leader of Delegation.

After the Mozambique 1st leg face-off; the team will return and prepare for the return leg that will be played on Friday.13th.October. 2023 at the FUFA Technical Centre Njeru.
