National Basketball League: UCU CANONS BACK TO THEIR WINNING WAYS.
After losing to Nam Blazers, City Oiler's and KIU Titans, UCU Canons are back to winning ways after a win over UPDF Tamahawks .
UCU won the game with a difference of two points. Canons scored 64 baskets while UPDF managed to score only 62 points in the contested game played at UCU court in Mukono.
Both teams played a very aggressive game but towards the end of the second quarter ,the Canons tightened the game , putting a lot of pressure on Tamakawks , by the end of third quarter,UCU was leading with 23 points.
After the game, Sadi Ulanga, a UCU player said ,"we would have done better had the team not become complacent because of the lead in the third quarter of the game ".
Nicolas Natuhereza, the UCU basketball coach said," the team did its best however, we played 50-50 , we hope to do better in our remaining games".
