BETO BIANCHI: VIPERS SPORTS CLUB SACK HEAD COACH.

Vipers Sports Club have sacked Head Coach Beto Bianchi after a run of poor results in the CAF Champions League where the Entebbe Road based side are making their debut in the group stages.

The news of the sacking of the Brazilian-Spaniard tactician Roberto Luiz Bianchi Pellister was announced by the club through its website on Thursday. 09th. March. 2023.

"Vipers Sports Club announces that the contract of Head Coach Beto Bianchi has been terminated with immediate effect.

"The club would like to thank Bianchi for his tireless efforts during his time at the club and wish him success in his future endeavours," the statement read.

Vipers SC are without a win in their last four matches in the group stages following a 1-0 defeat to Simba Sports Club in their last outing on Tuesday. 07th. March. 2023.

Bianchi who was signed in January 2023 and tasked to take Vipers through the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League group stages to the knockout stages was shown the exist after four games.

In the four games he has played, he has only managed 1 point which was earned in their goalless draw in the second group stage game against Horoya Athletic Club of Guinea on Saturday. 18th. February. 2023 at St. Mary's Stadium Kitende.

The other results included a 5-0 humiliation against Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca at Mohammed V Stadium on their CAF Champions League group stage debut; and two 1-0 defeats against Simba; home and away.

Bianchi's spell at Vipers has been a short one and thus failed to live it's full life span of two years; which was supposed to last up to  2025.

The 56 - year - old tactician was unveiled as the replacement of Brazilian Roberto Oliveira aka Robertinho, who had left the Vemons for Tanzanian giants Simba Sports Club.

Bianchi who holds a UEFA A Pro license leaves with his deputy and fellow countryman Roberto Martinez.

Bianchi joined Vipers with a wealth of experience having been at Ciudad de Murcia B between 2004-2007, Atlético Ciudad (2007-2009) and at Zamora from 2009 to 2010.

He also had coaching spells at Lorca Deportiva (2011), Batavia Union (2012-2013), Pro Duta (2013–2014), RRFC (2014–2015), Kazma (2020-21) and GD Interclube in 2021, Petro du Luanda of Angola from 2016-2019 as well as the Angolan National Team; The Palancas Negras in 2017.
