Record Airtel Masaza Cup winners GOMBA have finally acquired the services of lanky tactician Ibrahim Kirya after extensive negotiations.

The CAF 'B' licensed tactician replaces Denis Kizito a.k.a Deman Denol who is set to deputize him while Felix Sekabuuza takes on the Technical Director role.

The 49yr old gaffer will be having a 2nd stint at the 2004,2009, 2014 & 2017 Masaza winners having been in charge of the side during the 2018 Masaza editions when he took over from Simon Ddungu aka ' Coach Dunga' .

Kirya is currently the assistant coach at 16 time Uganda League champions SC VILLA ,deputizing Edward Kaziba.

Kirya is knowledgeable coach with wealth of  experience having had stints at; URA FC on Interim basis, Mbarara City FC, Lweza FC, Bright Stars FC, SC Villa, Wakiso Giants FC.
