FUFA joins the Nation and the entire football fraternity in mourning its former Treasurer H.E Ambassador to Kenya High Commission Dr. Hajji Hassan Galiwango. 

Galiwango played a key role in management of financial resources during his tenure as Treasurer of FUFA when the institution was growing up. 
He was FUFA delegate for Mbale for 6-yrs and served as FUFA treasurer under Denis Obua.
He was also chairman of Mbale Heroes and guided the club to the 1999 Uganda Cup title.
He will be missed by football dearly.

Dr Hassan Galiwango passed on at 7.30 in Nairobi
Burial is planned tomorrow at Jami, Doko, Namatala in Mbale.
