PART II: WHAT THEY SAID AFTER PENNING INK TO PAPER_ DONE DEALS IN THE 2021 SUMMER TRANSFER WINDOW AND 2021/2022 SEASON.

The transfer window in the Star Times Uganda Premier League, Star Times Big League, Region League(s) and across Uganda closed on the night of Tuesday. 21st.September. 2021.

Many teams were active in business to beef up their teams ahead of the new season 2021/2022 that is expected to start on Friday. 15th. October. 2021.

www.sportznow.ug brings you a series of some the comments by the different players after getting new employment placements and contracts in the Star Times Uganda Premier League.

Benjami Ochan _ KCCA Football Club:

“I am happy to be back. This is the team I grew up supporting, I have won things here and I hope I can win a few more. I am excited to get started.

“The team has a number of youngsters now compared to the past and they need to be guided. Being one of the senior players in the team I will be able to offer the guidance to the lads. 

“I want to win with KCCA FC. It could be the League or the Uganda Cup. The fans should expect beautiful football because we want to get back at the top.”

Najib Tusaba _ BUL Football Club:

“I am excited to join my dream club in Uganda. I am proud to be finally a BUL FC player and I promise better performances come the new season,” Tusaba said after inking the deal.”

Saidi Kyeyune _ URA Football Club.

 “It’s always a special moment coming back home and even better finding familiar faces at the club. I’ve been gone for less than a year now but everything seems already different and that excites me.” 

Jack Komakech _ Vipers Sports Club:

“I’m just extremely happy, extremely proud to be joining Vipers SC and finally have a team to feature for in the Uganda Premier League.” he told viperssc.co.ug.

“Vipers SC is one of the biggest clubs in the country. It is a huge club with big ambitions and i am looking forward to being part of the successful journey. I know it is going to be a lot of hard work, but I am ready to do everything I can to get the most of my five years here and at the school as possible.”

 

Titus Ssematimba _ Wakiso Giants Football Club:

 “It’s a great step in my future and I am delighted to be joining a club with young talented ambitious players. Am here to learn and improve and also help the team achieve its goals.”

Andrew Okiring Isiagi _ URA Football Club:

“Am very happy to join one of the biggest clubs in the country, there is a good program here concerning young players like myself and so I didn’t require much convincing to make the decision.”
