Mawogola has appointed former Gomba and Singo coach as new Head Coach for the Airtel Masaza Cup Championship 2020.

Veteran tactician Simon Dungu alias coach Dunga takes on Mawogola and he will be deputized by Jamada Magaasi and Wilson Kacuucu as first Assistant and Goal Keeping Coach respectively.

Dungu has a lot of experience in this championship having handled; “Ssaza” Mawokota Football Team, “Ssaza” Buddu Football Team and “Ssaza” Gomba Football Team with whom he won the Masaza Cup in 2017; defeating “Ssaza” Singo 1-0.

“This is a huge honor to take on this team this season,” Dungu told sportznow.ug.

“We all know there is a lot of work to be done to achieve that but I am confident we'll do it,” he added.
