YASSAR MUGERWA: UGANDA CRANES MIDFIELDER SIGNS FOR ANOTHER CLUB IN ETHIOPIA.

Uganda Cranes Midfielder, Yassar Mugerwa has signed a one - year deal with Sidama Buma Football Club in Ethiopia.

This was announced by the Ethiopia Premier League club on Wednesday, 19th August 2020.

Mugerwa joins Sidama.

The development came just hours after the creative midfielder had closed stages of his employment contract at Sehul Shire Football Club; also in Ethiopia.

Sidama Buma becomes Mugerwa’s forth playing home in Ethiopia for the past four seasons since leaving leaving South Africa Giants; Orlando Pirates_ the others being St. George, Fassil Kenema and Welayta Dicha F.C.

In Uganda, Mugerwa had stints at Nkumba University Football Club in the FUFA Big League; Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) URA Football Club both in the Uganda Premier League.

The 2-year old has been part of the Uganda Cranes set-up since 2014, capped seven times and was part of the Cranes team that played at the 2014 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament that was hosted by South Africa.
