TOTALENERGIES CHAN 2022: THE CRANES TARGET GOOD PERFORMANCE AND RESULTS AGAINST SENEGAL TO NIGHT.

Uganda Cranes get back to action and will be seeking to collect all three points off West African football strong hold Senegal.

The Cranes and Senegal will be playing thier second game in the African Nations Championship ( CHAN) 2022 Group B on Wednesday. 18th. January. 2022 at the 19th May 1956 Stadium in Annaba, Algeria.

It is a must win encounter for the Cranes and the Head Coach Milutin Sredojevic says that it will only be a game played for a victory and nothing less because it's what the Cranes need to keep their hopes alive at the championship.

"We deeply analysed the game against Democratic Republic of Congo and we want to improve," Coach Milutin Sredojevic noted.

"We are excited over this game and we respect our opponents but in a game of football it is unpredictable. We will make the most of our moments and expose their sources of vulnerability.

"We are fully aware of the challenge of entering the den of the Lions of Senegal; however, we have been working with sleepless nights to have details about this game and our ultimate target is to get performance and results."

In the opener, Uganda picked a point against Democratic Republic of Congo after settling for a goalless draw while Senegal took home all three points off fellow West African regional giants, Ivory Coast.

After the showdown with Senegal on Wednesday, the Cranes will play thier last game in the group stages against Ivory Coast who will also be looking to recover from their first game defeat as they take on Democratic Republic of Congo.
