There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding this year’s school National Post Primary Schools’ Football tournament also known as Copa Coca Cola schools’ championship that is slated to take place in May 2020; in Arua.

This comes as a result the world wide spread of the Corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic which forced the government to close the school prematurely.

Although there is some ray of hope that schools might re-open for the continuation of Term I on 27th. April. 2020; it is yet not clear if the qualifiers for the copa coca cola championships from the lower levels across the country will be held in time to beat the deadline of the national championship finals in Arua.

This is by no question the biggest young peoples’ sports (football) championship in the country and its failure to happen this year because of time constraints will be a very big blow to the football fraternity.
