2021 AFROBASKET QUALIFIERS: LIFE INSIDE THE SILVERBACKS’ BUBBLE.

Uganda National Basketball Team the Silverbacks arrived and settled in well at their Afro-Basket training camp in Cairo, Egypt.

According to the sources in Egypt, all the players are in good health and great spirits.

The training bubble is the team’s build-up to the 2021 FIBA Afro-Basketball qualifying games where the Silverbacks will face-off with Morocco and Cape verde.

It should be noted that he Silverbacks were stopped from taking part in the final leg of the Afro-Basket 2021 Qualifiers back in February because some members on the team had tested positive for the Corona Virus.

To qualify directly, the Silverbacks have to win one of the two games but also have a mathematical chance qualify if they lose both games.

The Silverbacks will play Morocco first on Thursday. 8th. July and thereafter face-off with cape Verde on . Thursday. 15th. July. 2021.

The finishing touches are being applied with the team holding two practice sessions daily to ensure 2021 FIBA Afro Basketball qualification when the action starts.
