The winner of the maiden CECAFA Women’s U-20 Championship will be decided on Tuesday. 9th. November. 2021 at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru when the championship which is being played under a round robin format enters Match Day 5; the final match day of the championship.

With 3 games left; all the attention will be on the tie between Uganda the hosts and Ethiopia from which the winner of the championship will be determined.

Both teams go into this fixture unbeaten after four games with 12 points each; the reason why the fans should expect an amazing match that will climax Match Day 5 and the championship in general.

Uganda v Tanzania 1-0

Uganda v Eritrea 2-0

Ethiopia’s fixtures/results:

To be crowned champions of the first ever CECAFA Women’s U-20 Championship, Uganda need just a draw because they have a superior goal difference of 6 goals over Ethiopia; having scored 21 goals and conceded only 1 goal against Ethiopia’s 15 goals scored and 1 goal conceded.

Meanwhile, 52 goals have been scored in the 9 games played so far.

Before the Uganda Vs Ethiopia clash, Burundi will take on Eritrea while Djibouti who haven’t won a game yet at the championship play against Tanzania.
