Category

BUL FC has become the first team to book itself a quarter final slot for the 47th edition of Stanbic Uganda Cup.
This comes after a defeat from the 2019 champions Proline fc  during the second leg of quarter finals played at Kyabazinga stadium in Bugembe Jinja city. The game ended 1-0 but Bul had the first leg advantage of 2-0 because they had won the first leg at MTN Omondi Stadium.
The visitors took the lead in the 40th minute after Bul's short stopper made a mistake and lvan Ocholit made no mistake apart from putting the ball at the back of the net. In the 65th minute of the game, Proline FC goal keeper Nicolas Ssebwato collided with Musa Esenu , this took 5-6 minutes when both were being attended by team physio but thank God they managed to come back on their feet.
Proline will now have to wait for the next edition as Bul are waiting for the opponent it will face in semi finals after the draw that will be conducted after all the quarter finals games.
