LADY DOVES FC START ROAD TO CAF WOMEN’S CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.

Uganda 2020/2021 season FUFA Women Super League Champions Lady Doves Football club have been drawn in Group A in the run for the qualification to the first ever CAF Women’s Champions League.

Lady Doves who won their first League crown after defeating UCU Lady Cardinals 2-1 in the repeat of the 2018/2019 final earned their ticket to represent Uganda in the inaugural CAF Women’s Champions League which starts with a preliminary qualifying stage.

In Group A, the Masindi based team will face it off with two other teams; PVP of Burundi and Simba Queens of Tanzania.

The qualifying tournament is slated to kick off on 17th. July to 1st. August in Nairobi, Kenya and the best team out of the 9 teams from the CECAFA region will win the ticket to the inaugural CAF Women Champions League edition that is slated to take place later in the year in Egypt.

New Generation (Zanzibar)

Group C:

Scandinavian WFC (Rwanda)

FAD Club (Djibouti)

Vihiga Queens (Kenya)
