After unveiling new season kits and partnership with betting company Betway in a deal which was valued at UGX 200m on 17th , March 2020, everyone who follows and loves basket thought that this was going to be the coming back of the five-time National Basketball League champions 

Since the 2021 NBL season started in April, the 2011, 2010 champions have not even managed to win a single game. They have played 5 games , lost 5 games . This have left them as the second  last from the bottom of the NBL table.

basketball analyts and over seers anticipate that it will be difficult for Betway Power basketball club to survive this time round and this is because teams did get enough time to prepare, the format of the league which is being used this season  also affects some teams. This season all teams are playing only one game, there is no home and away format. Even playing games without fans also affects most the teams .

The five-time NBL champions have only five games to play which will either see them playing in NBL season 2022 or they will be playing in FUBA division 1 men.
