Ayub Khalifah Names Provisional Squad For The U20 Women National Team Ahead of 2022 World Cup Qualifiers.

The U20 Women National Team head Coach Ayub Khalifan Named the Provisional Squad For FIFA World Cup Qualifiers due to take place on 23rd -25th September 2021 (First leg) and 7th -9th October 2021 (Second Leg).

 

Ayub Khalifah Kiyingi is the new head coach, earning promotion from the U17 Women’s National Team.

He replaces Oliver Mbekeka who is now serving as his assistant.

Mubarak Kiberu who has served at the U17 Boys National Team (The Cubs) as goalkeeping coach has been appointed to serve in the same capacity on the U20 Women National Team.

Stella Nankuba and Cissy Nakiguba will serve as the Team Doctor and Equipments Manager respectively.

 

The aforementioned technical team will guide the team the 2022 FIFA U-20 World Cup Qualifiers due this month.

Uganda will face Kenya with fixtures scheduled for 23rd -25th September 2021 (First leg) and 7th -9th October 2021 (Second Leg).

 

The provisional squad of 30 players has been named and the team will enter residential camp at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru on Tuesday, 7th September 2021.
