2020/21 FUFA BIG LEAGUE SEASON'S FIXTURE RELEASED

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations(FUFA) has released 2020/2021 FUFA Big League season fixtures set to start on Thursday 18th March 2021.

 

This season’s league will have only 16 teams and each group will consist of eight clubs that is the Rwenzori and the Elgon groups.

 

The Rwenzori group will have;

Luwero United,

Tooro United,

Nyamityobora, Kigezi Homeboys,

Proline FC, Water FC,

Ndejje University and Tile Terrazzo.

 

While thosein the Elgon group include;

Arua Hill,

Calvary ,

Paidha Black Angels,

Maroons ,

Kiboga young,

Kataka ,

Black Power and Gaddaffi.

 

The Promoted clubs to Big league are:

 

Gaddafi FC from Eastern Region

 

Calvary FC from Westnile Region.

 

Terrazo and Tiles FC from Western Region

 

Luweero united from Buganda Region

 

There are six clubs that were relegated from the Big League to go and start a fresh from there home region.

 

The relegated clubs and their respective region are 

 

Elgon group

 

Saviours FC Relegated to Northern Region

 

Light SSS relegated to North East

 

Katwe United Relegated to Kampala Region

 

Rwenzori Group

 

Kansai plascon relegated to Eastern Region

 

Dove FC relegated to Kitara Region

 

New Villa FC relegated to Kitara region

 

The best placed team in each group will automatically qualify to join the Uganda Premier League and will be joined by one other team from the play offs.
