UGANDA CUP: IMPALA HILL FC RECOVER FROM A LATE EQUALIZER TO WIN NTINDA UNITED ON PENALTIES.

Impala Hill Football Club beat Ntinda United Football Club 5-4 in a pulsating Uganda Cup encounter played on Wednesday. 22nd. December. 2021 at Ntinda Grounds to book a place in the next round of qualification in to the Uganda Cup.

Impala Hill were leading 1- 0 until Ntinda United equalised through a penalty in the dying seconds of the match which dramatically ended in a penalty shoot out.

Solomon Wafula put Impala Hill in the lead in the 38th minute; scoring from a free kick in18 yards, a lead they maintained till the dying minutes of the game when they gave away a penalty.

It was a match scattered with defensive errors and epitomised by a red card to Impala Hill midfielder Jamil Murshuin in the 76 minute for a second bookable offense and a penalty which was awarded to the hosts in added time.

There was no lack of entertainment in match which saw Impala play the last 15 minutes with a man less.

In the shootouts, Impala Hill goalkeeper Kuguli Henry became the hero of the day saving one penalty and his outstanding effort was rewarded by his teammates scoring all their 5 penalties.

Impala Hill spot kick heroes were; Kamuleheya Nassif,  Solomon Wafula, Martin Nsubuga Nabutono, Masembe Edward and Gerald Tumwesigye who converted the winning penalty.
