Gaddafi FC Head Coach Hopeful Of Their Future In The SUPL Amidst a 0-2 Loss In A Build Up Game Against Vipers SC Behind Closed Doors.

Star Times Uganda Premier League new entrants Gaddafi Football Club have today September.11th. 2021 hosted Vipers Sports Club in a build up game played at the Gaddafi Arena in Jinja.

The game was in preparations for the forthcoming 2021/22 SUPL season and Gaddafi Head Coach Hassan Zungu is hopeful that the team's future will be a bright one in the top tier despite the 2-1 loss to Vipers SC.

Zungu was happy with team's performance though he thinks that a lot of work is still needed  if they are to compete better.

"We played Vipers SC and it was a great build up game; however, we still have a lot to work to do," Zungu said.

"We have so far trained for one week and mostly focusing on strength and power and soon we shall be going for the tactical part of it. But of course we didn't expect much because we are just starting.

"I'm hopeful we shall do better,"  Zungu added.

Vipers SC goals scored in the first and second half respectively through David Bagoole in the 36th minute and the 70' minute.
