After a while without a club, Uganda Cranes International Allan Kateregga finally got a new home and will be playing for Football Club Lupopo of Democratic Republic of Congo next season.

Kateregga who was a free agent penned a two – year contract on Thursday. 9th. September. 2021 with DRC’s top tier side.

Full of determination and excitement ahead of a new experience and challenge, the stylish Midfielder went to his Twitter account @DancingRastar and wrote;

“Excited for this new challenge after a while out. Grateful to God for the opportunity and to my family and friends for standing by me through it all. I can’t wait to get started.”

FC Lupopo host their games in Lubumbashi City.

Kateregga has had stints BUL Football Club, Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Cub, Tusker football Club, Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), AFC Leopards, Cape Town City, Maritzburg Football Club on loan and Football Club Ebril in Iraq being his last club before the move to DRC.
